Returns & Exchanges — In‑Store and Online
Overview
  • Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
  • For a major failure: you’re entitled to a replacement or refund, and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss.
  • Some companies will require direct contact for faulty or damaged items. 
  • We reserve the right not to offer a refund where the ACL does not require one.
Fees
  • Large-ticket items (in-store or online): 20% cancellation/administration/restocking fee
  • Orders paid with Afterpay or Zip Money: minimum 5% cancellation/administration/restocking fee
Change of Mind Exclusions (not returnable)
  • No refunds for change of mind- Store credit only 
  • Car seats (whether opened or unopened)
  • Special orders / non-stocked items
  • Head, body and feeding pillows (hygiene)
  • Personal products worn against the skin
  • Perishables, swimwear, special occasion items, sleeping bags, swaddle wraps, hats, headbands
  • Drinking/feeding items (if seals are broken or not sold with protective packaging), including breast pumps
  • Baths, bath aids, potties, toilet training aids
  • Teething toys (not sold with protective packaging)
  • Gift cards and credit notes (cannot be replaced if lost or stolen)
  • Any item with a broken seal or not in original, undamaged packaging
  • Display, floor stock or clearance items
  • Special Edition or Limited Edition items
Promotions & Exclusions
  • Sales and promotions may exclude Everyday Low Price range, clearance items, car seat fittings, existing lay-bys and gift cards
  • Offers exclude items already on promotion or sale
  • One promotion or special offer per transaction (not in conjunction with any other offer)
Proof of Purchase
  • Required for all returns,  exchanges or repair requests (some companies deal with exchange or repair of certain items, please contact us if you need to know if you deal directly through us or the brand themselves)
  • If proof of purchase can’t be provided, we may refuse the return
How to Return
  • Contact us within 30 days for assistance and instructions
  • Postage and delivery charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are payable by the customer
  • Original shipping paid on online orders is not refundable
Lay-by Cancellation
  • Cancelling or returning lay-by items incurs a 20% cancellation/administration/restocking fee, calculated on the initial lay-by value
Faulty Items
  • If you believe your item is faulty, contact us. We may need to liaise with the manufacturer to assess whether you’re entitled to a repair, exchange or refund under the ACL
  • Inspection may be required by us and/or the manufacturer; you may need to send the item to the manufacturer
  • If found to have a manufacturing fault: you’ll be offered a repair, exchange or refund (as determined by the manufacturer in line with the ACL)
  • Accidental damage, misuse or neglect may be chargeable
  • A loan product may be offered while we work with the manufacturer (subject to availability)
  • Proof of purchase (Boutique receipt) is required
Manufacturer’s Warranty
  • Manufacturer warranties are in addition to your ACL rights
  • Warranty periods vary by product and commence from the date of invoice (not first use)
  • If you claim under a manufacturer’s warranty, you are responsible for the cost of returning the product to the Boutique and for delivery back to you after repair, exchange or refund (as applicable)
Compliance
  • Blossoming Bump Boutique adheres to the Australian Consumer Law and the Fair Trading Act in Western Australia
