CAR SEAT INSTALLATION SERVICE

The safest car seat is one that is correctly installed.  Book an appointment to have it professionally installed at our Boutique by our accredited Car Seat Fitting Expert - Alisha from Buckle Up With Blackmore.

During the appointment, you will also have the opportunity to learn how to install and use it yourself (becoming comfortable with the process is invaluable).

Our pricing

You can book a safety check, brand new car seat for installation, turn-around an existing seat, or install a second hand car seat. The price will vary depending on how many car seats you require to be installed/checked.

• Safety Check appointment = $15ea
• Single seat appointment = $45
• Two seat appointment = $75
• Three seat appointment = $105

*Extra costs may apply separate to appointment (for accessories) but this will be discussed prior to installation.

Second hand car seats can be installed by Alisha but she will check the car seat before installing and if any defects are found she will advise you and your appointment money will be credited. 

What is a "Safety Check"?

This service allows you to install your child's car seat before attending your appointment.

For peace of mind, every detail will be checked (from top to bottom) and minor adjustments made:

• Seat belt/IsoFix connection & stability
• Recline angle
• Top tether path & anchorage
• Harness height, routing & tricky twists
• Fabric cover & infant insert placement 
• Functionality & condition of mechanisms
• Condition of covers & straps
• And much more...

What is an "Installation"?

An installation is a complete service where your child's car seat is installed as per manufacturer instructions. This takes the stress and guess work out of such an important safety device.

Alisha is able to install child car seat's brand new from the box or pre-loved (provided no defects are found). If defects are discovered, your appointment will be terminated and credited.

You will be thoroughly educated on the installation and function of your car seat so you drive away feeling confident. 

If you have booked a safety check but a re-installation is required, this can be discussed at the time of your appointment.
